Kyle McAlpine
Software Engineer
London, UK

After working at Apple Retail for 2 years, I realised that I no longer wanted to sell software/hardware, I wanted to make it. So in 2012 I moved from my hometown, Devizes, to London to begin a BEng (Hons) degree in Software Engineering.

Shortly after I arrived in London I got my first permanent software job at Kaldor as a Junior Software Engineer, after interning with them for several months. I worked part-time during semester and full-time in the holidays, gaining tonnes of experience and learning lots from their experienced team.

I currently work at Loot, heading up development of our iOS app and assisting in architecture and development of our entire stack.
